Hilos Culturales

 We, as practitioners and teachers of traditional Indio-Hispano folk arts, believe in the importance of preserving regional traditions for future generations.  We further believe that the convergence of Spanish Colonial music and dance is essential to the well being of our communities.  We believe that Spanish Colonial music and dance are significant cultural elements of our nation’s heritage.  Our mission is to preserve these cultural traditions and ensure their continued vitality.  We will strive to generate financial resources and to provide the finest models, teachers, mentors and instructional materials necessary to realize the objectives of Hilos Culturales.
